The Coalition Against Socialized Medicine and the Center for Regulatory Freedom released a summary of their health care priorities which includes support for the Federal Trade Commission action against PBMs and opposition to consolidation in health care, i.e. “insurer-PBM alliances.” Generally seen as groups that lean right-of-center, their support for PBM reform underscores the almost universal embrace of PBM reform. They join groups from all over the political spectrum supporting PBM reform, FTC action and opposition to consolidation in health care.
Additionally, they vocalized their support for expanding preventive services and improving health outcomes by lowering the vaccine age for pneumococcal vaccines from 65 to 50.
