NCPA submitted comments to the Food and Drug Administration regarding the process of the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee in response to a request for comment from the agency.
In our comments, NCPA requested several changes to how the agency sends out PCAC materials and the amount of review time provided for, including that:

Speakers at the meetings have at least four calendar weeks from the release of the FDA packet to the due date for nominating themselves.

Speakers have at least two calendar weeks from the due date for nominating speakers to the due date for submitting slides.

Speakers may participate in the PCAC meetings either remotely or in person.
