In recent months, more than 40,000 patients have sent messages to Congress voicing support for PBM reform as the result of our Finish the Fight campaign. During the August recess, many legislators visited a pharmacy and got an in-person look at the urgent need for PBM reform as part of our grassroots Months of Action. That’s great progress—but there’s much more to be done.
This fall, the best chance for PBM reform will be to include it in a larger legislative package. So, this is the time to be the squeaky wheel and ensure Congress doesn’t lose sight of the importance of passing PBM reform.
