OK, for real: that’s really EVERY month around NCPA, but this is the official, recognized celebratory month for the rest of America. This is not the time to be modest. Use this special month to toot your own horn. Use social media to share your story and remind your patients and community about all the services you provide. You might celebrate by offering special wellness checkups along with the booster shots you’re giving. Make sure your social media, website, and store signage promotes NCPA’s Talk to Your Pharmacist First campaign. Plan now to recognize your staff on Oct. 12, Women Pharmacist Day, and Oct. 19, National Pharmacy Technician Day. We’d love to hear how you’re celebrating, so be sure to tag @commpharmacy in social media posts. But today is a special day, indeed, when we celebrate National Student Pharmacists Day! So, find that special student in your life and drop them a line to let them know they’re on the right track. After all, pharmacy’s future isn’t a mystery. It’s the students.
