John Beckner, RPh, senior director of strategic initiatives at NCPA, has been named to a two-year term on the new Drug Store News editorial advisory board. Beckner is recognized in the industry for his work with immunizations. He is a member of the Virginia Pharmacists Association, where he served as president from 1996 to 1997. He received the 2014 APhA-APPM Distinguished Achievement Award in pharmacy management and the 2015 Bowl of Hygeia Award for outstanding community service, sponsored by APhA and NASPA. Executives from leading retailers, suppliers, and associations join Beckner on the board.
