Yes, you can be reimbursed for uninsured patients getting COVID-19 vaccine

NCPA April 7, 2021

Pharmacies can claim reimbursement for administering COVID-19 vaccines to uninsured patients via the HRSA Uninsured Program. This program uses the medical billing pathway and requires several pieces of information about the patient to verify eligibility. The program works for patients who do not have Social Security numbers or state-issued IDs. Read about the attestation here. For more information about billing for COVID-19 vaccine administration fees, read NCPA’s three-page handout.
