ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Sept. 28, 2021) — Registration is open for the National Community Pharmacists Association’s 2021 Annual Convention, taking place Oct. 9-12, in Charlotte, N.C. Among the exciting sessions and dynamic speakers will be Betsy Allen-Manning, a best-selling author and founder of Motivate YOU Enterprises, and Josh Linkner, chairman and co-founder of an innovation research, training, and consulting firm called Platypus Labs. Their remarks are expected to focus on team building, harnessing creativity, managing change, and developing resilience, leadership and organizational wellness, all of which are vitally important as community pharmacy teams look beyond the coronavirus public health emergency.

“Innovation is always on the agenda at the NCPA Annual Convention, whether we’re working on changing the pharmacy payment model, advancing the latest patient care services, or learning and implementing operational best practices,” says NCPA President Brian Caswell, owner of Wolkar Drug in Baxter Springs, Kan. “As we reunite in person during the NCPA 2021 Annual Convention, we’ll talk about how we can leverage the disruption of the pandemic, change the face of pharmacy, and power up our practices. I’m excited to hear from great speakers like Betsy and Josh, and to get together in Charlotte for the biggest independent pharmacy reunion of the year.”
