ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Aug. 13, 2020) — The 2020 National Community Pharmacists Association Annual Convention is being converted to a virtual meeting, Oct. 18-19, 2020. All the innovative, business-focused programs that attendees have come to expect from NCPA will be available exclusively online in a live and virtual format, including programs focused on answering hard-hitting questions on getting paid for the care pharmacists provide. NCPA will employ a state-of-the-art virtual exhibitor platform to help conference attendees find new business tools and opportunities for their pharmacy.
NCPA would love to see attendees in person, but the recent increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the country, including in Tennessee, has made travel difficult for members and conference attendees. NCPA won’t let that stop us from putting on a great Annual Convention that you can attend from the convenience of your home.
Registration for the online event opens Aug. 28. For those who had already registered for the live meeting, there are options for refunding the registration fee. NCPA will be sending information via email.
Founded in 1898, the National Community Pharmacists Association is the voice for the community pharmacist, representing over 21,000 pharmacies that employ approximately 250,000 individuals nationwide. Community pharmacies are rooted in the communities where they are located and are among America's most accessible health care providers. To learn more, visit www.ncpa.org.
