Will Marquess
Will’s dreams of becoming a pharmacist started in high school, when he got his first chance to work in an independent pharmacy. This experience sparked a drive to continue to serve the local community to the best of his ability. For Will, NCPA was the right organization because he values a personalized patient care process and see’s NCPA support in local communities large and small to improve care for all. His dream after graduation is to become an Independent Pharmacy Owner in Georgia. Outside of serving his community in a pharmacy, Will is an avid golfer, often scheduling weekend rounds in with friends.

Sarah Frazier
Sarah chose pharmacy as her future profession because she was always curious as to how different drugs worked inside the body. She joined NCPA to play a role in advocating for the future of the profession and community pharmacists. Outside of pharmacy school, Sarah enjoys cooking, kayaking, and watching Kentucky basketball.

Sam Smith
A love of science and helping people is what drove Sam Smith, a pharmacy student at Mercer University to pursuing a PharmD. “When I realized I could combine the two and have a real impact on my community, I knew pharmacy was for me.” Sam join NCPA based on his belief that community pharmacists are positioned to have one of the greatest tangible impacts on the health of the local community, and want to see that opportunity strengthened. Upon graduation, he plans to immediately begin the process of owning and operating his own independent pharmacy. When away from school and work, Sam loves a good book and spending time with family and friends!

Madison Marquess
Madison is a pharmacy student at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. She was blessed to grow up with two pharmacist parents and was able to be immersed in independent community pharmacy her whole life. Madison values the way pharmacists make a huge difference in patients’ lives and the personal relationships you have with your patients. She cherishes the way that in the community setting you get to treat every patient like your family, and how unique it is! While staying involved in NCPA, Madison is a member of other organizations such as The Georgia Pharmacy Association (GPhA), Lambda Kappa Sigma (LKS), Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS), and Rho Chi. After graduation, Madison plans to take over her family’s pharmacy ownership with her brother, Will. When not in the classroom, she enjoys playing tennis and outdoor activities.

Elizabeth (Lizzy) Burry
As a pharmacy student at the University of Florida, Lizzy chose pharmacy school for the opportunity to play a vital role in the healthcare field by making medication decisions that benefit patients. She hopes to advocate for the profession to ensure that future aspiring pharmacists have the opportunity to pursue such a great profession. Pharmacy runs in the family for Lizzy, starting with her grandfather opening a pharmacy in 1964, where my brother and father now work as independent pharmacists. She joined NCPA because of a passion for independent pharmacy and a desire to expand her knowledge. After pharmacy school, Lizzy would like to carry on her family legacy by being an independent pharmacist with hopes of being a part owner one day. In her free time, Lizzy enjoys reading books and being outside near water, or during the winter, traveling to the mountains and snowboarding.

Caroline Eason
Caroline’s pharmacy journey began early, as her father and grandfather are both independent pharmacy owners. Growing up in the pharmacies, she found her passion for pharmacy and helping her community. Caroline joined NCPA due to their advocacy for independent pharmacy practice, pharmacist role advancement, and transparent pharmacy business practice. Her career goals include independent pharmacy ownership and engaging in health policy, pharmacy, and patient advocacy, with ambition to run for political office one day. Outside of pharmacy, Caroline enjoys running, exercising, baking, and church activities.

Anisha Jackson
As a pharmacy student at Samford University, Anisha is interested in disease state management and serving underserved populations. She joined NCPA to develop meaningful relationships with future independent pharmacists and to discover how to open and manage her own pharmacy one day. One of her long-term goals is to own an independent pharmacy and upon graduation, she plans to work in a local independent pharmacy. Summer Roesch
Summer first became interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy because of her passion for helping others and promoting health and wellness. After working in a compounding pharmacy, she quickly realized that serving patients directly in the community is where she belongs. Having grown up in a small, rural town, Summer knows how instrumental dedicated healthcare professionals can be in developing a close-knit community, and she is eager to start making a positive impact as a pharmacist in the future. She joined NCPA because of her desire to make connections and to advocate for the profession and unique roles that independent pharmacists can fulfill.

Michael Alder
Michael wants to become a pharmacist to help assist doctors in patient care. He chose NCPA because of his love community pharmacy and someday would like to open my own independent pharmacy. After graduation Michael would like to work a few years in psychiatric pharmacy or something to do with MTMs, and then open his own pharmacy. Outside of pharmacy he enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends.

Andrea (AJ) Tucker
AJ's dreams of becoming a pharmacist began at a young age. She had the opportunity to see the impact her local pharmacy and pharmacists had on her family and was immediately hooked! She felt called to the profession because it perfectly aligned her love of people with her love of medicine. AJ strives to play a key role in the health and wellbeing of her community. She joined NCPA because of her love for independent pharmacy and the abundance of opportunities for knowledge and meaningful connections. After pharmacy school, she hopes to give back to her community as an independent pharmacist, with dreams of independent ownership in the future. Zachary Akin
Zach has always been interested pharmacy with a keen eye for ownership that was developed during his time studying finance before pharmacy school. Joining NCPA was a natural fit and getting to attend NCPA annual convention in 2022 to meet and hear from pharmacy owners and students across the country led him to seek more opportunities at NCPA. Zach is completing a finance degree and seeking an MBA along with his PharmD to help pursue his future goals of pharmacy ownership. Growing up in Colorado, Zach always spent his free time outside and enjoys swimming, hiking, and skiing.

Quinn Mosgrove
As a pharmacy student at The University of Texas at Austin, Quinn is interested in bridging the gap between health system and independent pharmacy. She joined NCPA to serve and educate her community, develop her innovative entrepreneurial leadership skills, and start her path towards pharmacy management and ownership. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a health-system or community pharmacy administration and leadership residency. Outside of pharmacy, Quinn enjoys discovering hidden gems around Austin.

Corey McLemore
Upon graduation, Corey will become a fourth-generation pharmacist in his family. He loves working in independent pharmacy because he enjoys having interactions with patients and building meaningful relationships with them. Corey joined NCPA because it aligns with his goal of advocating for community pharmacy and giving pharmacists a voice. He feels it's important to give pharmacists a voice so they can truly advocate for their patients and their needs. After graduation, Corey plans on working for his dad in their family business and implementing new services that can help their patients achieve better outcomes on their health journey. Bryan Gomez
Bryan is a student pharmacist at the University of Georgia (UGA) College of Pharmacy, where he's also pursuing a MS in International Biomedical Regulatory Sciences. He's passionate about understanding how complex systems work and designing policy that improves the human condition. Bryan's passion for pharmacy advocacy led him to complete an internship in the US House of Representatives with Congressman Buddy Carter (GA-01), where he performed legislative research and assisted with the development of policy related to PBMs, drug pricing, naloxone access, and CMS issues. He's excited to serve in his role with NCPA to engage other students in work that accelerates patient access to high-quality, local community healthcare and demonstrates the value of independent pharmacy to patients, providers, and policymakers alike. Kayla Huber
Kayla, a pharmacy student from Washington State University, had her interest peaked in pharmacy by a desire to understand the science of drugs, how they impact anatomy and physiology to help people. In her first year of pharmacy school, she visited the club fair on campus, where she first discovered NCPA. “I heard the words compounding, leadership, community, entrepreneurship, and business plan. At that moment, I knew that my passion aligned with the mission of NCPA.” One day, Kayla would like to own a little pharmacy in some rural place so those who need help can, at least, walk through the door searching for service. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and finding adventure with loved ones and her golden retriever.

Holly Seyler
Holly is a pharmacy student at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy who's passionate about using her voice to contribute to the advancement of community pharmacy practice and advocate for her patients. She's driven to connect with them beyond medication dispensing and values the meaningful relationships she's able to build in practice.
