Thirty-four U.S. senators urge immediate action on PBM reform

Last week, 34 members of the U.S. Senate joined a letter to congressional leadership urging action on PBM reform before the end of the legislative session. The letter, led by Sens. James Lankford (R-Okla.) and Mark Warner (D-Va.), urges support for PBM reform provisions that provide savings for taxpayers, enhance transparency by reforming pharmacy reimbursements in Medicaid managed care programs, and promote pharmacy access for seniors by enforcing reasonable and relevant contract terms in Part D.
