The Joint Commission of Pharmacy Practitioners expanded its membership last week to include the National Pharmaceutical Association, bringing the total of national pharmacy organizations in the group to 13.
In its meeting in Alexandria, Va., the JCCP also discussed how to achieve health equity, where everyone is given a fair opportunity to be as healthy as possible. Topics included the CPESN Equity Network and Community Outreach activities, utilization of community health workers, and how practitioners, organizations, and society can address health equity gaps.
