NCPA is walking in high cotton these days – and why not? Over the past year, we’ve celebrated some wins, forged strong ties with some influential pharmacy champions, and raised our national profile in the process. NCPA President Michele Belcher and 2010-2011 President Bob Greenwood recently were invited to the White House for a bill-signing ceremony. Last month, Belcher helped host a pharmacy visit with CMS Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure and Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) as part of NCPA’s Month of Advocacy. Wyden, a champion for NCPA’s top issues, PBM reform and pharmacy DIR reform, has also visited Belcher at her Grants Pass, Ore., pharmacy.
