Wait, what? Michigan university releases its annual banished words list

Since 1976, the folks at Lake Superior State University have released a list of the year’s most overused words. It’s mostly a tongue-in-cheek exercise because banished words of the past are still heard every day. Consider “chill out” from the 1980 list, “bromance” from 2010, and “man cave” from 2012. Here are a couple of sentences using selections from the 2022 list:  That being said, I’ll need to circle back after I take a deep dive into the new normal of the supply chain issue.
