Two NCPA members were recognized with awards at PCCA’s 40th Anniversary International Seminar in Houston. Bryan Ziegler of Moss Compounding Pharmacy, Florence, S.C., was awarded the 2021 George Roentsch New Innovator Award. The award is given annually to an up-and-coming independent pharmacist and PCCA member who embodies the innovative and sharing nature for which George Roentsch was known in the pharmacy compounding community. Ziegler is also owner of Pharmacy Service Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm that supports community pharmacies with training and education, implementation guidance, workflow analysis and market analysis for pharmacist-provided patient care services. Vincent Canzanese of Summit Health Pharmacy, Brookhaven, Pa., won the 2021 M. George Webber Compounding Pharmacist of the Year. This award is presented annually to an independent pharmacist who has demonstrated service excellence to patients, health care providers and pharmacy colleagues. Congratulations to Ziegler and Canzanese!
