Vaccination When North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper needed a flu shot last week, he turned to a local independent pharmacy for his jab. And that independent, Health Park Pharmacy, is owned by an NCPA member, Steve Adkins. Adkins and his team have administered COVID-19 vaccinations about 25,000 people, both at the pharmacy and out in the community. Cooper singled Adkins out for the work his pharmacy has done in ensuring people had access to free and effective COVID vaccines. "Very early in on the process they were all in on giving COVID vaccines," said Cooper.
