Demand for vaccine is up, but it’s still slow going

More than 10.6 million Americans have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. NCPA member Scott Pace, who co-owns Kavanaugh Pharmacy in Little Rock, Ark., with his wife, Anne, says he's finding the demand for the vaccine is soaring because people are growing in confidence of the vaccine. "It's working, people aren't getting sick like they feared," Pace told KARK News. "They're seeing their friends get it, it's inspiring confidence in other folks and that's really driving demand, and that's good." In Arkansas, Gov. Asa Hutchinson moved the state into Tier 1B of the COVID-19 vaccination plan, which adds vaccine eligibility for those who are 70 and above and education workers. Hutchinson visited Kavanaugh Pharmacy's vaccination clinic on Monday.
