When it comes to considering remodeling your pharmacy, nothing is better than having Gabe in your store. But now, thanks to user-friendly technology, a virtual visit comes very close to being as good!
You will be asked to use a combination of a smartphone, Zoom meeting, a measuring tape, and access to dropbox files. Doing this will allow you to move forward in clearly communicating your vision of what you expect your store to be.
How it works:
You will be asked to take digital photos of your location and upload them to a file-sharing website. Gabe will provide step-by-step guidance on what to photograph to ensure no corner is missed. He will then meet with you on ZOOM and discuss each part of your store, including the curbside appeal.
You will need to provide a drawing of your store. The drawing does not need to be to scale, but instead, it will need to include a number of measurements. Gabe will draw your store to scale by using the measurements you provide. (for an example of a hand-drawn floor plan, click here).
Next, Gabe will send you a packet of forms to complete regarding store background information, examples of your retail OTC pricing, and more.
Gabe will schedule an initial phone call and or zoom meeting (approx. one hour) to discuss your questions and concerns. Then the assessment begins! Focusing on the area of the front-end, Gabe will ask you to sketch out a floorplan of your pharmacy, the more detailed, the better. Gabe will then provide you with a comprehensive plan on where to strategically place your OTC categories. There will be no need for the floor plan to be drawn to scale, listing basic measurements will do. Gabe will want you to include the sizes of all wall fixtures, gondolas, end-caps, spinners, greeting card racks, and free-standing displays.
