As the Drug Supply Chain Security Act’s Nov. 27, 2023, interoperability deadline approaches, NCPA and other organizations developed a website to compile a range of resources for dispensers. The page includes checklists, podcasts, and webinars to ensure dispensers are prepared to comply with the law. The page also provides an overview of DSCSA, key milestones (including when manufacturers, distributors and dispensers must provide and receive transaction information and statements in a secure, electronic and interoperable manner) and DSCSA’s definition of a dispenser. Collaborators on the site include NCPA, the American Pharmacists Association, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Healthcare Distribution Alliance, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, the Partnership for DSCSA Governance, and the Pharmaceutical Distribution Security Alliance. Feel free to share the link and take advantage of these resources. New resources will be added as they become available.
