In preparation for the upcoming open enrollment period (it starts Friday), CMS released star ratings for 2022 on the plan finder. Plans are rated on a five-star scale, with one being the lowest and five the highest. The ratings, assessed on an annual basis, reflect patient experience on 12 measurements. They are published so patients can make health care decisions that are best for their situation. No plans were assigned the lowest possible ranking for the 2022 year and 10 received the highest possible score. Visit NCPA’s Medicare page for more information.
