Health experts say Americans have built up less natural immunity against flu and RSV since so few were infected last winter. Viruses will have more potential to spread this fall because of venues opening up again. This has hospitals worried that flu and COVID-19 admissions could surge together in the next few months, resulting in a “twindemic.” Make sure your patients understand the risks and get their flu shots.
