Teams from three pharmacy schools will compete in the 2021 Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition on Oct. 9 at the NCPA Annual Convention in Charlotte, N.C. Teams of student pharmacists from the Medical University of South Carolina, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy, and the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy will present their business plans in a live competition. The competition’s goal is to motivate student pharmacists to create a feasible business model for buying an existing independent community pharmacy or opening a new pharmacy.
